With this look, we are writing our very own short story which is sure to turn into a full-blown romance novel by next summer. On hot days, these short shorts made of light twill feel like you are practically wearing nothing at all. The cut appears slim, but as soon as the inverted pleats open up the shorts get a lovely, airy width. The side pockets look cool, especially with one hand in the pocket and one holding a cocktail, casually leaning against the beach bar. With a simple top and sandals, this is a great daytime look. It also works great in the evening at an outdoor dinner.  In that case, simply style the all-over print with a matching top and delicate, heeled sandals.
