A merry little Christmas – Fleuryayo x Talbot Runhof
It’s Christmastime once again at Talbot Runhof: Throughout the festive season, our boutiques in Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Zurich shine in a very special glow. This year, we were delighted to collaborate with an exceptional artist for the design of our windows – Fleuryayo, whose work effortlessly blurs the boundaries between floral art, sculpture and design.
Fleuryayo lives and works in Munich. Born in 1998 in Schwarzach im Pongau, Austria, he began training as a florist in 2018 and quickly gained attention for his extraordinary creations, which can rightly be described as floral works of art. Since 2023, he has been studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Professor Gerry Bibby. His artistic language is shaped by the dynamic interplay between a deep connection to nature, a refined sense of form and a precise eye for materiality.
Today, Fleuryayo works at the fascinating intersection of art and design. Sustainability is a central pillar of his practice – also reflected in the Christmas window installations for the Talbot Runhof boutiques. Using surplus fabric remnants from Talbot Runhof production that could no longer be used in manufacturing, he created a poetic, textile winter landscape. Stylised fir trees become delicate artworks that simultaneously echo the current collection and create a deeply emotional connection.
Fleuryayo was especially excited to bring his passion for fashion into this project, seamlessly continuing another sustainability initiative by Talbot Runhof: the collaboration with the social project Bellevue di Monaco and the resulting project Bellevue Couture. Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof also expressed their enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We first experienced Fleuryayo’s work during a summer dinner at the Hofgarten and were immediately captivated. We are all the more excited about this inspiring project and to sharing an artistic and atmospheric Christmas season in our boutiques.”
